Circular Solutions for a Competitive Europe - Stakeholders' Day

This year, the ECESP joined forces with the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative and EU Green Week to focus on circular solutions for a competitive EU.

Earlier this year, the Competitiveness Compass and the Clean Industrial Deal provided key guidance on maximising the EU's limited resources, reducing dependency on third-country suppliers of raw materials, reducing waste and extending the lifetime of materials through recycling, reuse and sustainable production.

This series of events explored how the EU economy can speed up the transition from a linear to a circular model of production and consumption.

From 3 to 5 June, policymakers, industry representatives and the circular economy community discussed how to enhance Europe's competitiveness by mainstreaming sustainable circularity across all economic sectors. The event took place at the European Commission Charlemagne building in Brussels, Belgium.

The report on the ECESP Stakeholder Dialogue of 10 April was relevant to the entire three-day conference, reflecting stakeholders' input to the drafting of EU legislative proposals.

Here's the recordings for the three days (recordings link).
